Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of boat rental services provided by Azur Boat Location, registered at 150 Allée Calypso, 06210 Mandelieu-la-Napoule, France. By making a reservation, the customer unconditionally accepts these Terms.

2. Services

Azur Boat Location offers pleasure boat rentals on the French Riviera, with or without a skipper depending on the vessel. Destinations include Saint-Tropez, Monaco, Cannes, Antibes, Théoule-sur-Mer and the Lérins Islands. The full fleet and vessel specifications are detailed on our website.

3. Booking

All bookings are made via WhatsApp or Instagram and are confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit of the total amount. The booking becomes final upon written confirmation from Azur Boat Location and payment of the deposit. The remaining balance is due no later than the day the boat is collected.

4. Pricing & Payment

Prices listed on the website are in euros inclusive of tax. They include fuel for the agreed duration, basic insurance and mandatory safety equipment. Any additional hours will be charged at the applicable hourly rate. Payment is accepted by bank transfer or cash.

5. Cancellation

Cancellation more than 7 days before departure: full refund of the deposit. Cancellation between 3 and 7 days before departure: 50% of the deposit is retained. Cancellation less than 72 hours before departure: no refund. In the event of weather conditions making navigation dangerous, Azur Boat Location reserves the right to cancel the trip and offer a free reschedule.

6. Renter Obligations

The renter agrees to use the boat in accordance with applicable navigation rules, to stay within authorised navigation zones, not to exceed the maximum stated capacity, and to return the boat in the condition it was received. A security deposit will be required at the time of collection. Any damage found will be deducted from this deposit.

7. Liability

Azur Boat Location shall not be held liable for damage resulting from misuse of the boat, failure to comply with navigation rules, or exceptional weather conditions. Azur Boat Location's liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the relevant rental.

8. Insurance

All boats are covered by third-party liability insurance. An excess applies in the event of a claim for which the renter is responsible. Renters are advised to take out supplementary insurance to cover the excess.

9. Personal Data

Information collected during booking is used solely for rental management purposes. In accordance with GDPR, you have the right to access, correct and delete your data by contacting us at azur.boat.location@gmail.com.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, the courts of Cannes (06), France, shall have sole jurisdiction.
